Now that I am just about to complete my 2014 Project Life album I wanted to share some thoughts on my monthly dividers. Last year I created one divider for each month using a Design I page protector and products I had on hand. I did not create one for January because I had an opening page for my album and a monthly divider didn't seem relevant.
First of all, this is a great way to get a little creative every month and have some fun without committing to an overly complicated, massive project. Keeping these dividers small helped make this a quick monthly project that was absolutely doable for me.
Second, it helped me use stuff in my stash. I have accumulated a lot of paper and Thickers over the years and I needed to use it! This was a perfect way to combine new stuff I was receiving from my monthly Studio Calico kits and stuff I've been hoarding.
Will I do this again for my 2015 album? Probably. I love having monthly dividers and I love playing with paper. I'm not sure if I will use the Design I page protector or change it up though. I haven't thought too much about my 2015 album expect that I know I will do 12"x12" again.
Looking forward to another year of Project Life!
they are awesome!! I am a die hard CM album/page girl & am super stoked to see them coming out with pocket pages that I can mix in my strap hinge albums with layouts! I am thinking about doing my own version of PL using CM pages/albums to keep 2015 simple & possibly caught up-ish (I don't print at home yet) while working on past years as well. loving your inspiration, these are now on my to do list!

That's cool CM is doing pocket pages. I love how easy it is to scrapbook with pockets and mixing up the sizes is so much fun. Keeping it simple is definitely important for staying up to date.
