And finally...day 25.
I chose to not tell any stories and just use my two favorite photos from the day. The one with Mr. X, his dad and his sister was taken in the afternoon at his parents house and the one of me and Mr. X was taken in the evening at my dad's house.
The metal 25 is from Tim Holtz and the patterned paper on the right is from Ashley Goldberg for Studio Calico. I sewed a bunch of red stars to the page and used some old word stickers on the right and left to finish it off!
Ahhhh....it's done.
This project is one of my favorites and looking at this complete album I'm so thankful I do this. It's a lot of work (for real!) but in the end it is so worth it. One week in our life - documented. I think that's pretty cool.

I used the Ali Edwards Week In The Life kit this year which came with a 6"x8" album. Almost everything I used is from the kit except a few pieces of patterned paper on the opening page, some wood veneer, and the daily kraft envelopes from Life.Love.Paper. The large chipboard numbers were embossed with Zing! opaque denim.
And finally - Sunday's Week In The Life photos! Yesterday was Mr. X's actual birthday and it was awesome ending this project on his day. I have so many stories to include from the weekend and I'm looking forward to putting everything together this week.
I love doing Week In The Life...it feels great to start, and it feels great to finish. I'm a little exhausted today and it feels strange not taking photos all day long. But it's so worth it. So many things are the same from previous years, yet so many things are different.
I love documenting life like this.
Welcome to Saturday's Week In The Life photos! Saturday I got out my DSLR camera for the afternoon. I still used my iPhone because it's easy, but it was nice to use the bigger camera around the house. We headed out Saturday night to celebrate Mr. X's birthday with our friends. I wish I had a photo of all us but I was having too good of a time to take a bunch of photos. It happens. I have some stories though that I will include in my album.
Welcome to Friday's Week In The Life photos. Still loving this experience and so glad it's the weekend. It can be hard taking photos during the week when I'm at work because I sit amongst my co-workers, out in the open, all together, and taking a photo can be tricky. And now it's getting darker earlier so there's not much natural light in the evening. Oh well....it's life right now. Last night we had trick or treat but Mr. X and I were so tired we just put the bowl of candy on the front the porch. Plus we get about 5 kids every year so I'm sure we didn't miss much.
Looking forward to documenting this weekend. I plan on bringing out my DSLR camera and taking some photos around our home. Everything has been taken with my iPhone 5s so far because it's easier. Pulling out the big camera at work could be a little weird. :)

Welcome to Tuesday's Week In The Life photos! Today I was back in my office so that meant leaving our home when it was dark and sitting at a desk for 8 hours. Still, there are plenty of things to capture throughout the day. I will definitely have some of the same photos throughout the week but I'm okay with that. I do a lot of the same stuff during my work week. The fun part for me is really looking for different moments or things to photograph and document.
Hello Week In The Life!
Here are some of my photos from Monday. Mr. X and I both had the day off from work so I have lots of photos of food and us hanging around the house. I spent most of the day catching up on Project Life and Mr. X spent most of the day napping. It was a great day at home and capturing it like this is fun. It's real. And it's life right now.
All photos were taken with my iPhone 5s and I used PicTapGo and RadLab to adjust the color.
Tomorrow I start documenting a week in our life. I'm excited and I'm ready.
I have done this project in 2010, 2011, and 2013 and these are some of my most favorite albums. It is quite an adventure documenting an entire week and I love the experience and most of all - capturing our life like this.

Below is my opening page for this year's album. I have decided to use the Ali Edwards Week In The Life kit which I have not done in the past. I have always used an 8.5"x11" album and materials that I already had on hand. I think it will be fun to change it up this year with a different size.
I choose the cornflower blue album and it measures 6"x8". I absolutely love the quality and color.

I have a rough idea on how I'm going to lay out each day. This may change after I see what photos and stories I have to work with. I have saved these kraft screen printed envelopes from Life.Love.Paper specifically for this project. I will most likely tuck a journaling card in each one.
Blank canvas...I can't wait to get started!
