Welcome to weeks 16 and 17 of my Project Life album. For these two weeks I am documenting our vacation to Punta Cana. I absolutely LOVE using Project Life to document vacations. The pockets are great for all the pieces we collected on our adventure. I didn't include a ton of photos in this spread because I'm also going to make a small photo book through an on-line shop with all the photos we took, but that will come later. For now, here is a look at our vacation...
The 'bring on the magic' card is from the Ali Edwards Magic Story Kit.
For the date card I used a wood veneer grid from the Studio Calico Cirque Project Life kit and attached a label to the front. I bought the stamp card from a gift shop in the Dominican Republic and placed it directly behind the grid. Love the look of the two together.
I've always been drawn to postage stamps and when I saw these in the gift shop I just had to have them.
The first insert is a design H page protector. I included our ticket stubs, business cards, receipts, tags and used these cool airplane paperclips to keep the pockets closed.
Turning the page you can see the back with more ticket stubs and receipts, and then a 4"x6" page protector which holds some Dominican money our friend had given us.
The next insert is a map of the hotel that was given to us when we checked in.
It was a pretty big map so I folded it in half and punched holes down the side.
This photo was my favorite from the entire trip and I wanted to include it in the album but in a larger size. I printed it on 8.5"x11" photo paper and the photo is 6"x11". I attached some word tags in the bottom righthand corner from the Magic Story Kit.
On the back I printed out a list of things I wanted to remember from our trip.
And finally, a few other photos and some mini Instax photos that I stapled into the pockets. There are four more photos on the backside but there will not be anything placed behind the Instax photos. I like how they look by themselves.
