I finally put my bento to use last week after a very long hiatus. I got inspired by a trip to the grocery store last Sunday when I saw a ton of fresh fruit that is now in season. That's all I needed to get me going again. FRESH FRUIT!
I started the week with strawberries. I also made a tuna, pea, pasta salad recipe I found on Pinterest. It was delicious! You can see the recipe here.
Next was peaches, salad with Italian dressing, hard boiled egg and candied pecans.
And one of my favorites - granola, berries and non-fat Greek yogurt. I didn't think I was going to like this one but I crushed up the granola bar over the yogurt and added the blueberries on top. It was fantastic. FYI...my favorite Greek yogurt is Fage Total 0%. My day job has allowed me to try a lot of different brands of Greek yogurt and in my opinion, Fage is the best.
