Hey everyone and welcome to the September Gossamer Blue Blog Hop!
Today I want to share with you a couple Project Life / pocket pages spreads I made with the September kits. This is week 25 from back in June that I've been waiting to complete for awhile now. These kits worked perfectly with the photos and stories I had to tell.
The journaling cards in this month's life pages kit were totally my style. Love them all! Combined with embellishments from my favorite kit, life pages add-on #3, everything looked so good together and I was super happy with the way this page came out.
The stamp sets in the main scrapbooking kit and the life pages kit were some of the best I've had on my desk in a long time. I used them on all of the journaling cards above and I know they will get a ton of use in future projects.
The next spread is documenting Father's Day at my dad's house during week 25. I only had a few photos to work with and a very specific page protector that was used in the previous week's spread. I ended up using more cards from the life pages kit and the life pages add-on #3.
For each of the journaling cards I used my sewing machine to sew two cards together.
I thought this was a good way to create a smaller journaling area within a larger pocket and I think it balanced out the entire spread.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you love the September kits as much as I do!!
And on with the blog hop...
