One thing I love doing in the summer is estate sale shopping with Mr. X. Sometimes we take a Friday off to catch one that looks really good. A couple weekends ago we hit three on a Saturday afternoon and they all sucked. Then we went to just one last Friday and it was great. I snagged these red tins above, among other things, and they are the perfect size for 3x4 Project Life cards. And for only $3.00! If you're looking for ones in your area check out EstateSales.net.
I went to my first pre-season Chicago Bears game Thursday and needless to say I'm pumped for football. This summer has been awesome, but fall is my season.
I finished The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman over the weekend and I cried my eyes out. It was a beautiful story...even Mo liked it.
I played golf with my Mom on Saturday and even though we double parred (and even triple parred) most holes, we had a great time. We did each get one bogey which was beyond exciting. Too bad it was on the second to last hole. I felt like we were just getting warmed up.
And more bonfires....
And my last random thing is our Monday night dinner. I love cooking although it can be tricky to shop and cook for two. We have a few recipes that we rotate through and work well for us and tonight we added nachos to the list.
Have a great week!
