Hello week 8! Still in love with this project.
Here is a look at the left side. Lots of Instagram photos this week. Mostly because it is just easier than lugging around an SLR camera everywhere.
Here is a look at the right. The 2 photos at the top were also taken with my iPhone. The Fender packaging is from Mr. X. Love that he gives me stuff to add.
I had a small pile of confetti leftover from the card I made and I didn't know what to do with it. So I put it in a pocket and sewed it up.

Thanks to Pinterest I found this idea and made a chocolate cake in under 5 minutes yesterday. And it really was less than 5 minutes and it really was good. Unbelievable.
We celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday today and I made her this card for the occasion. I scraplifted the idea from Lisa Truesdell's AWESOME layout. She is a confetti master and I love it.
This video shows you exactly how to create the confetti pockets and it was actually a lot easier than I thought. I'm so happy with how it turned out.
I just got this book today in the mail from Amazon thanks to the great recommendation from Elise. I'm anxious to read it and learn something good.
Today I've been watching the snow. Watching it fall. Watching it melt. Although the drive to work completely sucked, it was definitely pretty walking into work...
Dreaming of owning a Cameo. Ugghhh...the things I could do with this.
First, I was given a brand new rubber band ball by a co-worker today. It's amazing how something like this can make your day.
Second, we made smashed potatoes tonight for dinner. Twice. As in we made a batch, ate them, then made a second batch, and ate them. They were that good. You can find the recipe here. We used tiny yellow potatoes from Trader Joe's and added garlic powder and black pepper.

The left side of this week was all about Valentine's Day. We did celebrate for 2 days so there was enough to fill up the page. The So Much Love Stamp and Document Life stamp are from Studio AE - February.
The right side is a bunch of other stuff from the week. Including a postcard from my brother, shopping list, and a photo of the treats I made for a Breaking Dawn party Friday night. Yes, those are photos of Edward and Jacob. Love it!
Last week I played along with Ali Edwards and documented a day in my life. I took photos throughout the day and jotted notes on a plain piece of card stock. Today I put it all together and added it to my Project Life album.
Here is a look at the front of the layout in my album. I took all the photos and created a collage in Picasa and printed it on a 8.5x11 piece of photo paper. There was one photo I didn't really like at the bottom so I cut it out and added a piece of patterned paper with a title.
The back is the piece of card stock that I kept notes on throughout the day. I tried to keep it simple and take note of times and thoughts without making it overly complicated.
I love doing layouts like this. Such a great way to scrapbook your life!
Happy Valentine's Day! Or ValenTIME'S Day as Mr. X calls it. I was surprised this morning by a chalkboard full of love. What a great way to start the day. We went to see the movie Red Tails tonight and it was fantastic.

Last night we went with some friends to see a Roller Derby up in Milwaukee. Unfortunately, the Shevil Knevils got their butts kicked by the Crazy Eights but it was still exciting and super fun.

I can't believe I completed an entire month and I'm still super excited about this project. I look forward to Sunday morning when I print out my photos and sit down with my album and a cup of coffee.
I had a few extra Instagram photos leftover from our trip to Chicago last weekend after I used what I needed for Project Life. This is the first page I've made with these smaller photos and I love the look of them. I actually like using multiple photos on a layout so these work out perfectly.
HELLO WEEK 4! It has taken a little longer to put this week together but it's totally okay. I'm not stressing myself out to have my week completed on Sunday. As long as I get it done by the following week I will be happy.
Here is a look at the left side. A quote from Mr. X, an email from my dad, beer packaging, Instagram photo, sky photo (love these) and a food photo.
The right side is all from our weekend in Chicago. I used the number stickers to list out some things I want to remember from the weekend. I don't think I used many of the numbers last year. More Instagrams printed in different sizes and a receipt. The last center photo with the building is on a card that opens and has a story about our parking garage fiasco. Something I hope we will look back on and laugh about.
I signed up for a class over at Studio Calico called Photo-A-Day. The plan is to take one photo everyday for an entire year. I know, that's a lot of photos. I tried this a couple years ago and I didn't even make it through January. This time around - I think I can do it. It totally goes along with my Project Life album and I'm thinking how cool it will be to have 365 photos at the end of the year.
